The aim of the applied research project has been the development of a new product prototype, a 2-3kW hydrogen power system based on a PEM fuel cell (FC) technology as a back-up solution in the business continuity market. The innovative developed fuel cell system allows. Electro Power Systems, the SME coordinating the project, to address a wider market and to strengthen its competitive market positioning.
Lot of effort was put in the development of different subsystems: fuel cell stack, fluid management, thermal power management, electric power management. The result is an increased know how for both partners, a new product for the business continuity market.
